Calves and Spring

Well, it has been a long time since I have posted to the blog. I am sure everyone is waiting with baited breath for my next post. Well here it is.

Spring has sprung! How exciting! The place looks fabulous here in spring - there are just SO many flowers! We do have to thank Sandra - without her, there may have been no spring this year. Apparently you have to water to keep your plants alive. Lucky Sandra came to Kooty and deduced this as being our problem of everything dying.

And now, there is just no stopping the flowers! I don't have the room here to post everything, but here are some...

Geraniums, a heap of white posie sort of things and heaps of profusely flowering white bushes
This is the bush on the driveway side of the house - the whole thing explodes with millions of blue flowers. Of course, however, there is thousands of bees. I run past this side of the house.

The wisteria on the clothes line has taken hold.

This is the rosemary bush out the front and a bit of the blue bush again. The butterflies love this bush.
And this side of the house is breathtaking. Unfortunately my photography skills aren't great and don't do any of these photos justice, but this side of the house is just swarming with so many different types of flowers. I wish I knew all their names......In the background there is purple and white wisteria....out the front of the house is pink wisteria.
Also, all the white and purple irises are in bloom now and look great too. I willl take some photos tomorrow. I also discovered today that we have pandoreas out on the back fence.
And these are the new additions to the household - cow 1 and cow 2. or laz and daz. anyway, they are very cute and very hungry. they enjoy drinking milk and chasing bonnie.
they also get a bit smoochy every now and then...

life on the farm is pretty sweet at the moment :)
