Greedy currawongs

A big fat greedy currawong stole my beautiful EXPENSIVE gold and diamond watch (that Darrin bought me) yesterday L
I took my watch of as I unloaded the chiminea from the trailer so it wouldn’t get caught. I put it on top of the post. When I went back to get it half hour later it was GONE!! We looked everywhere last night, but without luck. Scoured paddocks and climbed on roofs etc but couldn’t find it L Apparently currawongs like shiny stuff. Hopefully it will turn up in a paddock or something one day, but it is more likely the very expensive pillow of a stupid little baby currawong somewhere.
Caught another mouse today. Darrin went out and bought more traps and spent lots of time running around setting them. Secretly I think he is actually enjoying it and would prefer that Flip didn’t taken care of them for us!
Spent the day cleaning the old house today. That hurt. Still got a bit to go that Darrin will finish this morning. I am back at work today. Still got heaps to do around here but getting through it slowly.
Had to leave the farm tonight to have dinner at Lia’s. Had yummy homemade pizza, she is a great cook.
And Bonnie had her first exams today! GUESS WHAT!? SHE PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS! She had to do sit, heel and down. She reckoned it was a cinch and I think she easily came first in the class. She is now officially 2nd grade and I get an extra colour on my badge J After that, we went and celebrated by having a play down the bottom of the club where she showed her true colours – doing spectacular jumps over the balance beam, “going” away from me and sitting, dropping, staying, and chasing the stick. Clearly a natural!
