Cold

I have been awake since 4am since the dumb flip of a cat decided to go crazy and wake me up. She still hasn't caught a mouse. And mice poo everywhere tells me they haven't gone into hiding. She better get her act together soon or back to Luddenham she goes.
It is pretty cold here in Kooty! Especially yesterday. Bbrrrr. Yesterday was freezing - and the fire went out which meant it was even colder! I was breathing frost in the house! It took me one and a half hours to get the fire going. But this morning is not too bad in here. I have built up the fire and it is roaring now, and have got the heater going as well. So it is warm and cosy at the moment.
Too bad the dumb cat won't stoke the fire for me during the day so it is warm when i get home tonight.
Meanwhile, me and Bonnie went hunting last night. We walked up to the top paddock to check out the night views. On the way up, Bonnie chased her first wabbit. I was very proud of her. She didn't catch it luckily but had fun trying. She moves pretty fast when she wants to, sort of sounds like a racehorse. I am hoping Bonnie gets better at keeping the pesky wabbits away from my lawns. They are making a huge mess of them - holes everywhere, and I keep falling into them!
